Texas Comptroller Payment Website & Navigation Aid

Step 1: To Access your online account, enter mycpa.cpa.state.tx.us into your web browser.

Step 2: If you have not registered for an account before, you will need to setup your own username and password by clicking Sign up.

During registration, you will need your 11-digit taxpayer number and will be asked to provide a Web file number. To obtain a Web file number, you must call 800-531-5441 ext. 33630 or 800-442-3453.

For security verification in order to obtain your Web file number, you must supply the following:

• 11-digit taxpayer number
• Total Sales/Revenue from a prior return
• Payment amount from the latest return filed

Step 3: Once you have provided all the required information, your account will be created and you will be able to access information regarding your Texas Comptroller account(s) including delinquent tax years, tax types, balance breakdowns, and payment information.

Step 4: If at any time you need assistance with the website, you can contact Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts at 1-800-442-3453 and a representative will assist you.
